This can ensure that in case there are any problems with the electrical or motorized component of the awning will be safe and can be easily replaced in case of any problems. The warranty can cover any mishaps that may occur with these awnings or any malfunctions that may occur through the life of the awning, up to five to ten years. Although these warranties are often associated with an extra charge, it can be worth it through the life of the awning.

Electric awnings can often be installed from the company that they were purchased from. This means that the company can come to the home install the awning and ensure that they awning is working correctly and all of the electric components are in place before leaving.
