User Guide for Sun Awnings
Sun awnings are a great way to make the most of your outdoor area, as they can reduce the amount of sun on a patio or deck and can make it easier to spend time outdoors through the humid summer weather.
There are many types of sun awnings that homeowners have available to them. These include motorized sun awnings, as well as sun awnings that are manual and are folded or rolled out to protect the patrons from the sun while sitting on the deck or patio. Although manual awnings which must be rolled or folded with the use of special tools to protect the patio and extend the awning are less expensive, motorized awnings can be controlled with the touch of a button which could save countless time trying to adjust the awning as the sun moves through the day and the needs for the awning are adjusted through the use of a remote or the use of a switch.
When purchasing a sun awning first determine the size of the area that is going to be covered and ensure that the area will be sufficient for a sun awning that can be attached to the home. Next ensure that the home is stable enough to support an awning in the metal housing which is attached to it, as these can be quite heavy weighing upwards of a couple hundred pounds. Choose a fabric and material that will be durable and compliment the décor of the home to finish the product off!
